Credit for the title

Credit should be given where it is due. A classmate or former classmate of mine asked me how the job search is going. On receiving a not so excited response told me that her friend's senior spent a year on the job search...sending out 40 resumes a day. This exercise resulted in him getting 3 interview calls and subsequentally 2 offers. Good for him. She followed up the little story with the brilliant inference "to find a job is a full-time job".
To make a long story short, a couple of hours after the above conversation i was sitting around and thinking about how i learn some small little thing every so often that helps me improve my job search. Concurrently the other part of my brain (i'm gemini so i have the luxury of using both parts of my brain concurrently) was thinking of how blogs are such a waste of time...who would have the time to read some other person's rants and raves about the world, when they could probably write a book on their own.
Wola, my brain rationalizes, 'you have time to waste' write a blog!...and this what i am going to do. With complete confidence that nobody is going to read this blog i will be putting in tit bits of how my job search is going and the tactics that i try out. Inspired by the story of the dude who spent a year on his own search i have titled my blog "to find a job is a full-time job".
